52 Thursday’s 5 Favorite Things

Michelle and I wanted to introduce you to 5 Things You Need In Your Life Right Now. We promise you will thank us later, especially since we found the secret to never having a hangover again..

1. Bota Box Cabernet Sauvignon

Yes, we love boxed wine. Don’t be shocked or start judging because you will be headed to the store after you finish reading this post to pick one up for yourself.  We have been testing this wine for months, just for you, to make sure we were on point with this and we have some exciting news to tell you. This is the only wine that DOES NOT GIVE US A HANGOVER!! Yes you read that correctly. We also love Bota Box because it is an easy drinking wine, total crowd pleaser, has the equivalent of 4 bottles in one box, costs around $20 and its even eco-friendly! Need we say more? Imagine having all your friends over for a nostalgic game of slap the bag and still being able to make it to work the next day..

2. Trader Joe’s 1000 Day Gouda Cheese

This cheese pairs quiet nicely with the Bota Box Cab Sav listed above and needs to be added to any cheese board that you plan to serve in the near future.  This is not your average gouda, it has been aged and matured for 1000 days, has a full flavor that almost crumbles when you cut it, it has tiny crystal like particles inside that give it a bit of a crunch when you bite into it. And at only $9.99 a pound, you can add this to your cart when your at T.J’s with out thinking twice.  Seriously you have to try this cheese, you will not be disappointed.

3. YSL Baby Doll Kiss and Blush

We found out about this hidden secret at the Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show that we attended this past weekend. We learned about so many new make up trends for spring but this had to be one of our favorite products and we both brought it home.  Baby Doll Kiss and Blush is a 2 in 1 product that is meant to be a lip color and a blush that stays put for up to 12 hours. We love versatile products and this one really kills two birds with one stone, throw it in your purse and you are good to go from day to night.  It comes in a variety of colors but we both ended up settling on Rose Frivole because of its fun pink hue for spring. It is a bit spendy at $40 but well worth the splurge.

3. Hask Keratin Protein Hair Care System

Michelle and I stumbled upon Hask hair products a month or so ago and decided to give the complete line of products a whirl, we both ended up falling in love with the Keratin Protein product line.  After using the products for a few weeks we both noticed that our hair was much smoother, shiner and overall it felt healthier.  Michelle and I have very different hair types, she has longer thicker hair while I have shorter finer hair, but we both found that it made our hair stronger and easier to manage when styling.  Our favorite from Hask would have to be the deep conditioning treatment, our hair was left feeling hydrated and healthy. We also tried the Argan Oil line but preferred the scent and the results of the Keratin Protein products.  You can find most of these products at your local drug store.

5. Kettle Bell Work-Out

Slide2The only piece of equipment you need for a killer at home workout because it works pretty much every muscle in your body. There are so many different exercises that you can do with the kettle bell but the swing is the king of them all.  It gives you a full body work out and is safe on your back and great for your posture as well.  The “kettle bell swing” works your glutes, abdominals, arms, chest, back, legs, hips and is a great choice for women looking to tone up with out “bulking up”.  I have a 20lb kettle bell (will run you about $20) and found that it is a versatile weight for me to use for multiple exercises, you may want more or less depending on your fitness level.  To get a full workout with this movement we recommend that you do 10 reps of 5-10 sets to see the best results and after you master this one you can move on to even more fun and complicated movements to get fit quick.

Thanks for reading our 5 Favorite Things loves! Now tell us about yours!

xoxo
