The Bucket Bag Craze
Not going to lie, I have been a little sad since Michelle moved out to LA, ok a lot sad. It’s hard watching one of your best friends and business partner pack up and move across the country. It had only been a little over a month since she moved but I decided that it was time to get out of DC and head out west for a 52 Thursdays reunion.
As spring is just getting it’s feet wet here in DC, LA has already moved straight into summer and for someone who has been freezing cold all winter long, the warm weather was extremely welcoming. Of course it was amazing to see Michelle and catch up about her new Cali life but it was also pretty nice that I was able to shed the layers and actually put on a dress for a change. I found this cotton dress, by Heather, when I was in La Jolla during the first part of my trip and am in love. It is comfortable, super flattering and can be dressed up or down, now thats what I like to call a well rounded dress!
Now let’s talk about another thing that I am extremely excited about. Michelle and I have partnered up with our dear friends over at Bag Borrow of Steal to showcase and style a different bag from their collection each month and in our own distinctive way. April is all about the Chloé Emma Drawstring bag (rent for only $200 per month) and literally since this bag arrived, it has gotten non-stop compliments. Bucket Bag Craze has been huge this season because they are so roomy and unfussy and that is probably why I like their style. I chose the Emma bag in a blush nude color because I know it will go with practically everything, whether I am dressed up or down. Hope you all don’t get sick of me rocking this beauty all April long!
