Don’t Mess With Texas

Last weekend, Casey and I headed to Dallas to see some old friends and to go to our first Formula 1 race, The Circuit of Americas in Austin.  Some take aways from the weekend other then I would like to move to Texas, is that the boots are amazing, they beat Rag and Bone any day, the Kolaches are to die for (more on that below), never again will I wear skinny jeans to a car race when it’s 85 degrees, and everything IS truly bigger in Texas.

I am pretty sure every store in Dallas had a full bar, I think I may move here just for that reason alone.

Here are the Kolaches I was speaking of earlier. Pictures do not do them justice. Jalopeno and Cheese and the Apricot and Cream Cheese are the best in my book.

Best place to get Kolaches.

Pitt Bull performed after the race was over and I would have gotten rowdy if I wasn’t dying of heat exhaustion.
