Now that summer has finally arrived and things have slowed down a bit in both of our lives, we are getting back into our date night routines with our hubbies. After a long workweek we both look forward to closing our laptops, shutting off our phones and spending some quality time catching up and reconnecting with our husbands. Whether we are heading out on the town to try out a new restaurant in one of our neighborhoods or staying in to cook together, we always make an effort to look and feel our best. After being married for a few years, it can be easy to fall into the habit of “this will do” or “I’ll wear that new dress next time.” Don’t get us wrong, we have been there too. Since the big move to LA, we have been feeling like we are millions of miles apart. Not only are we living on separate coasts but we’re no longer able to indulge in our weekly wine nights where we used get together to swap beauty secrets, catch up on gossip and our latest fashion cravings. Which completely sucks btw. But thanks to Bag Borrow or Steal, we were able to come together to collaborate once a month to share our latest handbag obsessions with you. Even though we have different styles, we still share the same love for many of the same pieces…. And these Gucci Disco bags are right up both of our allies. These bags are the perfect pop of color, compact enough to carry when you are on the go and they make a total statement with the fun tassles. We have been wearing our cross-body bags on repeat and creating a variety of looks, thanks to Bag Borrow or Steal. They are so easy to throw on and really can play off any style or trend. It’s All About the Details

For me, it’s all about the details. Fashion doesn’t need to be complex. It’s the little efforts that you put into your outfit to really complete the look and make it your own. Trends come and go as quick as the actual model walking the catwalk. You never really know what’s ok to splurge on and what to pass up. That’s why I find accessories, from the shoes, to the jewelry- to the bag, always the most important details that will keep you on trend. And the details within your accessories, shoes, jewelry pieces, and of course bags will help you achieve your desired look with in the trends. I fell in love with this salmon colored blazer at Zara last week and thought it was the perfect piece to build a Spring trend around. If you ask my husband, he might disagree with this purchase as my closet is filled with a rainbow of blazers, however I did not have this color! A blazer is just way too effortless in my life not to have. It’s an easy go to and can be your statement piece with out any thought.
