I’m good at many things, organization is not one of them. Since I can remember, I’ve struggled with keeping things neat and tidy. I had the messiest desk at school and my childhood room was always in shambles. My poor mother. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve definitely tried harder to stay on top of things now that Casey (also not a neat freak) and I have a home of our own but there are only so many hours in a day. After a long day of work and my evening gym session, the last thing I want to do is come home and work on organizing things. Honestly, it’s a miracle if I’m able to get the grocery shopping done! Thank god for grocery delivery! I’ve wanted to work with an organizer for years. Here’s a gift guide this Mother’s Day for stuff she reeeeeally wants. Love the colors, fit and fabrication from underbares. They are thoughtfully designed with stretch lace that hold the girls so well and comfortably I forget I’m even wearing one. Easter Basket Gift Guide

I’ll admit, last year I didn’t get too crazy with Easter. We made a small basket of goodies for her, dressed her up (which we don’t do too often) and went to church. That was about it. Since we have no family around us, celebrating the holidays alone can be a bit underwhelming especially when trying to get in to the spirit of things. However! This year, now that baby girl is almost 2 and functioning more like a human being (more so than she was last year where she could barely walk!) I want to get in to it more. Adaline has been all about dinosaurs the past month. So much that the theme for her 2nd birthday is going to be a dino time! So I only found it fitting to find her more dinosaur goodies to stuff her basket. That and her easter basket is actually a dinosaur! How cute, right? Making Memorial Day Memories

Making Memorial Day Memories Summer has officially begun and what better way to celebrate than a beach vacation with your friends!? Last week we headed to one of my favorite beach towns in the US, Charleston SC, for Memorial Day Weekend. Our good friends rented a beach house right on the Isle of Palms where we had an incredible view of the ocean from just about every room. We were lucky enough to be able to bring our pups with us, which made this trip even more special since we usually have to leave them at home when we travel long distances. Since we were there to celebrate our friend Josh’s birthday, we naturally had a bunch of swag made by Custom Ink to make sure the celebration was extra special. His wife had a logo of his face made, which was a huge hit and looked absolutely ridiculous (in the best way possible) as we sported his face around town. He was completely surprised and was secretly very excited for all of us to wear his “logo” around Charleston. We made custom t-shirts, visors, playing cards and tumblers made for the occasion.
