					<description><![CDATA[<p>This year we hosted our first ever Friendsgiving with some of our closest friends.  The weather was looking good for Friday evening, so I took a chance and rented two long tables and a bunch of chairs in hopes to have the dinner outside and thank god the weather was on my side. Throwing a dinner party for 20 people isn&#8217;t an easy task and it can get expensive so I found some ways to keep costs down by heading to Goodwill for extra plates and silverware and borrowing extra napkins and serving platters from Michelle.  I hit up a local rental company for the tables and chairs, for a one day rental they were only $40. Michelle and I spray painted the mini pumpkins silver and then painted each guests name for their place holder, made for a cute gift to take home too.  Maggie set up a station to make turkey feather and turkey leg hats, they were a huge hit.   Each friend brought a bottle of wine and a dish to share.  Casey and I made the turkey by following a Paula Deen recipe, as you can imagine there was a lot of butter involved.
