What is best for baby … It’s the question I’m constantly asking myself, what is best for baby? I’m pretty sure I’m not the only mom out there that is constantly thinking this, because of course we want what is best for our little ones … There are some things that we just can’t control, but for those that we can, we try our best. Like buying all organic anything and everything, reading every instruction manual from top to bottom, researching product reviews and honestly just giving unconditional love and attention to your baby. Buying all organic is a no brainer for me. Organic shampoo, organic wipes, organic clothes. You can’t go wrong because there are no harsh chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and insecticides being used, therefore helping to improve the quality of the land, prevent water contamination, and conserve biodiversity. I would prefer to limit the exposure of harmful chemicals often found in non-organic products, which is something that I can control. Safe for baby and safe for the environment. That’s a win win. Partner In Crime aka Baby Daddy

I am dedicating this post to my partner in crime aka my Baby Daddy … This is my partner in crime, my ride or die, the Clyde to my Bonnie and all that cheesy stuff. But all seriousness this baby daddy is all mine and I am so thankful for that. Like every couple, we have gone through our fair share of up and downs. All experiences have only made us stronger and grow as a couple and individuals. As college sweethearts, we have been together for over 11 years and married for a little over 6 (how crazy is that?!). Now you may ask … why on earth did it take so long to have a baby?? Friends and loved ones all around us were popping out babies, but we still had some growing up to do ourselves. Maybe selfish but just flat out true. It took us some time, and a move across the country but we are finally here! We were extremely fortunate enough to not run in to any conception issues but now at 40 weeks and 2 days we are blessed above all to be waiting (like she could come any minute, literally) on our sweet […]

My Boho Baby Shower

My boho baby shower … I have to brag here a bit because I have the best family and friends a girl could ask for. My mom truly is the hostess with the mostess and threw me a baby shower that I thought a girl could only dream of. I seriously don’t know how she does it and pray that I too can be as loving, generous and kind hearted of a mom like she is. Thank you to my dear friend Lauren for opening her gorgeous home to celebrate and my girl Mimi for all her help and preperation. Also to my beautiful mother in law, Pam for traveling all the way up north to shower her little grand baby. I’m so sad to have missed my sister and niece on this special day as they both become very ill just a few days before but were of course there in spirit. I feel so thankful and blessed to have had so many close friends and family around me, showering my little girl. She is going to be brought in to a world surrounded by so much love and by so many wonderful people, I couldn’t be more thankful. We can’t wait to meet you little […]
