Summers in DC are HOT HOT HOT. So when it comes to dressing during these sizzling summer days, less is more. I’m not talking about dressing scantily clad but I am talking about dropping the layering and wearing cute sundresses instead! They are easy, breezy and will keep you feeling much cooler during the next month of pure sauna-like temps. I love all sundresses but there is just something about seersucker that screams summer and horses! My family and I always spend the first week in August in Saratoga, NY watching the horse races, so you can bet that this seersucker number will be making the trip with me. It’s the perfect amount of cute and preppy and perfect for a day at the races! Scroll down for more photos of this look and to shop a few of my favorite sundress this season! All items are 25% off today! Photos By Emma Weiss xo Sarah

As we wrap up our Fashion Week posts, we look back on some of our favorite moments of the week. We saw what’s to come for spring, attended fun parties, spotted celebrities, caught up with old friends and made some new ones. Being the last NYFW post of the series, we thought we would share what took place beyond the shows at Lincoln Center. As new members of Reward Style, we were beyond thrilled to be invited to their exclusive blogger party held on the rooftop at The Empire Hotel. For those who don’t know, Reward Style is a web-tool that helps top-tier style bloggers monetize content, long story short–they help us get paid!! They threw one hell of a party where they served up crafty cocktails, we mingled with good company and something all bloggers love- they gave out SWAG! To answer the question you are all thinking, no the swag bags did not include the Louboutins and Prada bag pictured above (wishful thinking) but they were uber generous! Check back soon for more info on Reward Style where we will explain how it works and how you can shop from our website and Instagram. Sarah is pictured here wearing […]

Fall Essentials with South Moon Under It seems that summer is officially coming to a close and fall is knocking on our door. It is always hard to say goodbye to the carefree days of summer but looking forward to fall fashion always make the transition just a bit more bearable. Our dear friends at South Moon Under sent us the cutest fall package with pieces that are already making the move to fall feel much easier. We love the color and cut of this simple yet elegant cami by Abbeline. It is the perfect piece to wear when it’s still warm but also would look fantastic layered with a blazer or cardigan when the weather gets chilly. The gold chain necklace looks so rich paired with the jade color cami and we can already tell we will be getting tons of wear out of this piece for fall/winter. The burgundy crocodile clutch really pulls the look together and we love how you can wear it with or without the removable gold chain. These wide-leg white trousers have been a staple in our wardrobes this summer and thought they really brought this entire outfit together. We will also be transitioning […]

Jumpsuit by DVF, sunglasses by Ray-ban and fascinator purchased in Saratoga boutique. Dress by BCBG and bag by Street Level Bags. Saratoga will forever hold a special place in my heart, it has been an annual vacation spot for our family since I was a baby and it is also the place where Casey and I got engaged two years ago. I grew up in a horse loving family, so it is only natural that our family vacation would be centered around an equestrian event. Saratoga Springs, NY has so much charm and character behind it, from the historic homes to the natural springs and everything in between. I am sure you have ordered one of those blue bottles of sparkling water sold at your local restaurant, if you have then you have had a taste of Saratoga (literally). The race season at the Saratoga track starts in late July and runs six days a week through the end of August, which makes for the perfect time to visit to escape the southern heat. If you plan on making the trip next year, which I hope you do, here are a couple of my favorite places to visit. Call the […]
