Ok pasta lovers, this recipe is for you! I’ve spiced up the popular Cacio E Pepe dish and added a little fall flair to it. I was obsessed with this pasta dish while traveling through Italy, so I had to recreate it at home but I figured I’d add a taste of fall to make it a bit unique and seasonal. Sounds a bit strange to add pumpkin to pasta but I swear it’s so good. It adds a bit of a sweet yet salty kick to the already peppery dish. It’s a flavor explosion! I personally made this recipe with gluten-free pasta, so all my gluten-free babes can enjoy this one too! Just add my maple bourbon cocktail and date night will be perfection! Make life even easier and order all the ingredients listed below from www.peapod.com. They make shopping with a gluten-intolerance super easy with their nutrition filters and it couldn’t be more convenient that they deliver all of your groceries right to your doorstep! Everything you need for fall recipe inspiration is on Peapod too! Use code 52Thursdays20 for $20 off your order over $75 plus free delivery for 60 days!

Every chance I get, I try to make a trip to the local farmer’s market on Sundays. I can’t think of a better way to start any day than walking the market tents and scoping out the produce, all while supporting small businesses and local farmers. My hubby and I really enjoy cooking together. It’s a creative outlet for us and sometimes it is the only bonding time we have with our crazy work schedules. During our visits to the farmer’s market, we find inspiration for planning our next meal while perusing all the local fruits and veggies that they have to choose from. That night we made zucchini spaghetti with fresh, homemade tomato sauce. So tasty! If you want to try out our sauce recipe you can find it here! For this Farmer’s Market trip, I thought it would be fun to dress that part 😉 Wearing- Overalls: Frame; Top: Intermix (old, similar here); Bag: Mulberry (old; similar here); Shoes: Superga xo Michelle

This year we hosted our first ever Friendsgiving with some of our closest friends. The weather was looking good for Friday evening, so I took a chance and rented two long tables and a bunch of chairs in hopes to have the dinner outside and thank god the weather was on my side. Throwing a dinner party for 20 people isn’t an easy task and it can get expensive so I found some ways to keep costs down by heading to Goodwill for extra plates and silverware and borrowing extra napkins and serving platters from Michelle. I hit up a local rental company for the tables and chairs, for a one day rental they were only $40. Michelle and I spray painted the mini pumpkins silver and then painted each guests name for their place holder, made for a cute gift to take home too. Maggie set up a station to make turkey feather and turkey leg hats, they were a huge hit. Each friend brought a bottle of wine and a dish to share. Casey and I made the turkey by following a Paula Deen recipe, as you can imagine there was a lot of butter involved. Everything […]
