Football season has officially started, the seasonal Starbucks lattes are finally back, yellow school buses are making their rounds and brisk, cool nights are here and sticking around. So many traditional signs to let us know that Fall is amongst us and we are loving every minute of it. The early days of fall are always the most fun to dress for. So many transitional pieces to carry from summer to fall to even winter. The minimalist trend is one of our favorites by far. This simplistic, effortless and refined chic look is perfect for the transitioning weather, with fitted silhouettes and light layering pieces. Tights, boots and some killer wrap coats or oversized throws will take you to the next season until all you want to wear are your comfy, go to sweats come February! We wanted to showcase our favorite looks from H&M featuring the minimalist trend for this season. These looks could easily be worn for a date night out and even to the office if you throw on the cardigan. NYFW: Beyond The Shows

As we wrap up our Fashion Week posts, we look back on some of our favorite moments of the week. We saw what’s to come for spring, attended fun parties, spotted celebrities, caught up with old friends and made some new ones. Being the last NYFW post of the series, we thought we would share what took place beyond the shows at Lincoln Center. As new members of Reward Style, we were beyond thrilled to be invited to their exclusive blogger party held on the rooftop at The Empire Hotel. For those who don’t know, Reward Style is a web-tool that helps top-tier style bloggers monetize content, long story short–they help us get paid!! They threw one hell of a party where they served up crafty cocktails, we mingled with good company and something all bloggers love- they gave out SWAG! To answer the question you are all thinking, no the swag bags did not include the Louboutins and Prada bag pictured above (wishful thinking) but they were uber generous! Beyond The Runway: Miami Swim Week

We arrived in Miami early Thursday morning with great anticipation and a very packed schedule ahead of us. We wanted to take full advantage of our visit and take in all that Mercedez Benz Fashion Swim Week 2015 had to offer in the little time that we had. As soon as we unpacked our bags we were off to the Ford Artists Beauty Suite on the Venetian Lady yacht for makeup and hair styling hosted by the ladies behind the charity Style Saves. This was much appreciated after a rough, early flight. Our Ford makeup artist and hair stylist were phenomenal and we thank them for their amazing work and help getting us ready! Poko Pano kicked off MBFW with the very first show on Friday at The Raleigh Hotel pool. We all clinched on to our fans and drastically tried to keep cool in the blistering heat. Thankfully the show was a splash, literally, and we soon forgot about the heat and humidity and enjoyed the show and MBFW 10 Year Anniversary party and opening night event. Whether its basketball, baseball or football it seems as if there is always a sporting event taking place, #boring. However, I finally have something that sparks my interest this Spring…nope not baseball spring training, the sporty trend. I can’t get enough of this chill, relaxed yet refined trend.
