You know the one that puts a little extra pep in your step? This was one of those outfits for me. I went out on a mission to find the perfect look for my 32nd birthday (ugh I’m old), something fun, yet still sort of age appropriate and after scouring most stores are the mall found everything I was looking for at Free People. For some reason that store just gets me, it’s relaxed boho/hippie vibe resonates with me. So I am sure you have noticed that the lace up trend is definitely a thing. I must admit, I was a little hesitant of trying it out when it first appeared but I had a change of heart after a recent visit to Free People. I spotted this blue print top and even though the plunging neckline made me a bit nervous I decided to give a try anyway. Spring will be all about adding western details to your laid back denim and sheer/gauzy blouses. You can easily go overboard with this trend, so make sure that if you go with fringe shoes, that you hold off on the fringe bag and western belt.
