Whether I’m looking for a killer pair of heels or a comfortable pair of sneakers, it’s essential to try them on to make sure they fit perfectly. Comfort used to be the last thing I looked for when buying shoes, if they looked good on, then they were coming home with me. After years of wearing painful shoes in my twenties, my priorities have changed when it comes to shoe shopping in my mid-thirties. And that doesn’t mean I’ve given up on fashion all together..please…I just am more conscious of what I buy. When it comes to comfortable shoes, Comfort One is a staple, in the DC area. Their service, selection, and style makes them an industry leader and I love that they are locally and family owned. I dropped into their newly remodeled store in Old Town to check out some fall boots and was given the full Comfort One treatment.
