I am still in denial that I am back home from Paris Fashion Week but luckily, I am able to relive my experiences through these blogs. So there will be more of these, I hope you don’t mind! Last week when I was in Paris for Fashion Week, I had the amazing opportunity to partner with Fashion Forward Dubai to create and shoot my favorite looks from their gorgeous showroom. I have never been to Dubai but have always been intrigued, so I was really excited to learn more about their designers. There were so many beautiful designs to choose from, which made it hard to narrow things down to just three, but these were hands down my favorites. We shot these looks only hours before I hopped on the plane to head back home and I’m so glad that I did because this was one of my favorite moments from Paris Fashion Week! Not only was I able to style these amazing pieces but I was able to meet the designers behind each piece of clothing I wore. They were all super talented, extremely friendly, had a touching story and I am so incredibly thankful to have had the opportunity to […]

Whether you have a beach vacation on the books or you’re just heading to the neighborhood pool, it may be time to update your swimwear game. I have always been a bit crazy about swimsuits, probably why I have over 70 suits at home (oops). But I blame my addiction on Miami Swim Week because I have to put the blame on someone! I have attended 3 swim shows in the past 4 years and am so excited to be heading back in just a few days. At swim week I get to be one of the firsts to see what’s to come for next season’s swimwear trends and I can’t wait to share it all with you! So be sure to follow us on Instagram @fiftytwothursdays and watch our IG stories for live show coverage! But for now, peep my favorite suits of THIS season that I featured in Strong Fitness Magazine and shop more of my selections below!

You really see it all when it comes to Fashion Week. The good, the bad and the ugly. One of my favorite parts about this fashion circus is the people watching, it’s almost better than the runway shows. I pull so much inspiration from what I see on the streets in New York and even if that was all I went to NYFW for, it would be worth it. This fashion week was a little bit quieter for me than the ones in years past. I went to less shows, had more meetings, was able to meet up with friends and actually eat meals. Usually we are so busy running from show to show that we end up skipping lunch and dinner and lord knows that none of the NYFW parties that we ever attend serve meals. I guess that is just a fashion thing, no one eats. NYFW was also a tad disorganized this year, which was to be expected after Mercedes Benz dropped the event after last season. Instead of most of the events being held at Lincoln Center like in years past, the shows were scattered around the city which made for mad traffic and surged UBER pricing. Most shows […]

Swim week has come to a close but the memories will live on forever because we have created a video diary with all of our favorite moments from the week. We partnered up with Natalie from The Fashionably Broke and created a short video with clips from our favorite shows, parties, Miami hot spots and the outfits we wore doing it all. We know it is sometimes hard to see whats really going on at events like fashion week and swim week by only sharing still photos, so we decided to turn the video camera on and capture all the Miami Swim Week excitement that we possibly could. We started our blog because we both are head over heels for fashion, we always have been. And it’s events like New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week that get us the most excited about what we do. It’s being on the brink of discovering new trends, meeting new and emerging designers, mingling with other fashion minded individuals and making friends with other bloggers and industry leaders that really fuel us to keep going. Each and every time we are able to attend an event like this we thank our lucky stars (aka you […]
