Amidst the hell season called midterms, the fashion gods have gifted me with stunning Fall 2017 collections created by my favorite designers. Bloggers, such as Aimee Song (my all-time favorite blogger) and A-List celebrities walk (Kylie Jenner and the Hadid sisters) and watch these shows to show appreciation for the geniuses behind the pieces they will all be wearing this fall. Today, I’m here to talk about some of my favorite pieces from this season’s Fashion Week in NYC and Paris. Fendi: Red Is the New Black  Red is one of those colors I think encompasses everything I want to be: classy, bold, and stunning. I only wish I could work it. Red just isn’t a complimenting color for me, but I can still stare and drool at Fendi’s uh-maaaazing red pieces, right? That, coupled with the fall weather, had me reminiscing about those care free days when I would throw on a college hoody, skinny jeans and a pair of Uggz. Yes, I know how cliché that is and I’m not going to lie…I still own a pair and still wear those Uggz when I walkthe fur-baby below 30 degrees. Don’t judge. Well as I mentioned, the overcast skies, scattered showers and brisk, cool weather in Richmond made for perfect cozy, sweater weather. My favorite go to in the fall now is a silk or denim button down shirt layered under a chunky knit sweater. This simple combo creates an effortless element to any fall look and if the weather brings a surprise warm up, you just shed a layer! I added my new joie crepe joggers to complete the look which was perfect since they are incredibly comfortable and perfect for weekends like this. We love the color and cut of this simple yet elegant cami by Abbeline. It is the perfect piece to wear when it’s still warm but also would look fantastic layered with a blazer or cardigan when the weather gets chilly. The gold chain necklace looks so rich paired with the jade color cami and we can already tell we will be getting tons of wear out of this piece for fall/winter. The burgundy crocodile clutch really pulls the look together and we love how you can wear it with or without the removable gold chain.
