You might click on this post and think “oh that’s a cute outfit” or maybe you think “what the hell was she thinking?” either way, when I look at this post all I see is total procrastination. I shot this look with Emma back in October and while it is one of my favorite outfits, it still took over 4 months to make it to the blog. But with the craziness of the holidays, brand collaborations and picking up my new position with Strong Fitness, this post and a few others had to be put on the back burner. So here I am playing catch-up but lucky for me this look is still relevant come late January (thank god). Just throw on cute oversized coat and you are good to go. This look is perfect for a night out with the girls, date night with bae, or even a first tinder date. Whatever the night throws at you, this suede get-up will leave a lasting impression. 😉 Suede FTW! Sarah is wearing: Turtleneck (Storets sold out similar here), Skirt (Free People sold out similar here), Boots (Stuart Weitzman), Bag (Chloe via Bag Borrow or Steal), Sunglasses (Rayban).

Have you ever put together an outfit that makes you feel damn good? You know the one that puts a little extra pep in your step? This was one of those outfits for me. I went out on a mission to find the perfect look for my 32nd birthday (ugh I’m old), something fun, yet still sort of age appropriate and after scouring most stores are the mall found everything I was looking for at Free People. For some reason that store just gets me, it’s relaxed boho/hippie vibe resonates with me. So I am sure you have noticed that the lace up trend is definitely a thing. I must admit, I was a little hesitant of trying it out when it first appeared but I had a change of heart after a recent visit to Free People. I spotted this blue print top and even though the plunging neckline made me a bit nervous I decided to give a try anyway. After I found the right bra to go along with it, I felt much more comfortable with the deep V. I paired it up with a patch-work suede skirt and I had a match made in birthday heaven.
