The 3 trends you need to pick up this season … With each season come new trends and new must haves. It’s all a bit overwhelming and before you know it we have slid right in to the next season with the next trends and next must haves to waist your money on. SO when I choose which trends I want to sport around this Holiday, I try to be very selective. This year I did all of my fall and winter shopping at Bevello because of their wide selection of clothes and accessories, each carefully selected to cater to all trends and for a variety of tastes and styles. So putting together my winter wardrobe was as easy as 1 2 3, adding in the missing pieces to my closet. I wanted to share the 3 trends this season that I felt the need to pick up on with pieces to cover every need in my life from day to night, to work and back home to baby. Un-Done Opulence: This is probably my favorite trend. It’s perfect for the holidays with a touch of sparkle and some un expected dressing. I paired this luxe faux fur jacket with a cozy […]

What’s your go to when on the go? For me it’s an effortless blazer, comfortable pants and some great accessories to complete the look. A look so simple that can easily be dressed up or down which is perfect for those days you desire comfort and functionality during the day but throw on some great heels and clutch and you are set for the evening. If you are like me, with a full time job and an attempt at a social life then you understand what little time there is between when you get off work to when you would like to meet up with friends. Let’s be honest we all try to make it to Happy Hour because it really is the golden hour/s in the day. The anticipated hours of relaxation and the feeling of accomplishment finishing the work day while celebrating with good friends over half priced, refreshing drinks is everything. Unfortunately that Happy Hour is just so inconveniently early!! So why waist time changing for the occasion. Instead plan the perfect desk to drinks look ahead of time to ensure you maximize that Happy Hour to the fullest. The ultimate on the go outfit that is work appropriate, chic and effortlessly put […]

Have you ever put together an outfit that makes you feel damn good? You know the one that puts a little extra pep in your step? This was one of those outfits for me. I went out on a mission to find the perfect look for my 32nd birthday (ugh I’m old), something fun, yet still sort of age appropriate and after scouring most stores are the mall found everything I was looking for at Free People. For some reason that store just gets me, it’s relaxed boho/hippie vibe resonates with me. So I am sure you have noticed that the lace up trend is definitely a thing. I must admit, I was a little hesitant of trying it out when it first appeared but I had a change of heart after a recent visit to Free People. I spotted this blue print top and even though the plunging neckline made me a bit nervous I decided to give a try anyway. After I found the right bra to go along with it, I felt much more comfortable with the deep V. I paired it up with a patch-work suede skirt and I had a match made in birthday heaven. Which […]

You know that feeling when you look at all of the clothes in your walk-in closet and feel like you have nothing to wear? What’s worst is getting that feeling right before date night. You don’t want to be stressed right before a fun night out, so plan ahead with our favorite outfit for a fall date night! If you’re looking for a way to get a little edgy, try this leather mini we can’t get enough of. Paired with a simple top, you won’t feel too out of your comfort zone. The long-sleeves we picked are perfect for the unpredictable DC weather, and the burnt orange color is spot-on for the season. Complete the look with some totally on-trend fringed heels! For added fun, accessorize with a thick bangle and braided belt. You don’t want to have to worry about your hair either, so keep it simple. With a great outfit like this one, your hair doesn’t need to be the center of attention. Try a bubble ponytail, like the one we did, to the side. You can also never go wrong with a classic straight blow out. Wearing: Top (Free People), Skirt (French Connection c/0 – now 50% […]
