Maternity Support + Giveaway

I had to dedicate an entire post to BLANQI for the simple fact that they made my last trimester bearable in the most fashionable way possible. Maternity support is so important and a game changer as you transition from trimester to trimester. It’s crazy how drastically different each trimester can be. The first trimester I was hush hush about my bundle of joy, wearing loose fitting clothing and sneaking crackers and ginger ale at work as snacks to keep the nausea down. Second trimester was a breeze for the most part other than heartburn. I was still working out, and had fun playing dress up as my belly grew. However, as soon as my Third Trimester hit, I’ve been dealing with THE worst heart burn causing me to throw up almost every evening. I feel just huge and extremely uncomfortable at all times. With the constant kicks to the ribs, sore back, lack of sleep, leg cramps and achy feet, I’m pretty excited to be done with the belly and finally get to meet baby girl. Let’ talk hair. We are all picky about our hair, from what products we put in it, to who manages and maintains our hair. Lucky for me I have an incredible team at Sassoon Salon in Beverly Hills to help in those areas that I have absolutely no clue about. We value our colorists and stylists as much as we value our wine at dinner time. It’s needed for perfection. And that’s exactly what I get each and every visit with colorist and stylist, Dianne and Lina. It’s so important to have a good relationship with your creative team because you are trusting your precious hair in their hands and I trust every second of it with them along with their hair product suggestions that I now swear by (linked all suggestions below). I went in last week with the idea of going for an extreme sombre or ombre of some sort. I showed Dianne a picture for inspiration and she gave me her honest opinion that I probably wouldn’t be content with a darker color surrounding my face. From the Farmer’s Dish and Giveaway

Signing up for our weekly delivery from From the Farmer has been such an amazing experience. Of course it’s so nice to have fresh, local food sent directly to our door step, but it’s also a huge time saver during our busy work week. No more rushing in and out of the grocery store for fresh fruit and veggies. I always forget my shopping list when I go anyway. One of the challenges can be deciding what new creation to make with all the delicious goodies at hand. This week our box contained mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, spinach and kale. My first thought was to make one of my favorite dishes… pasta. I’ve blogged about this before too (you can click here for that recipe), but it’s fun to find new ways to eat it! We used these fresh ingredients to make a chunky sauce to top those scrumptious noodles. Handful of mushrooms, 4 large tomatoes, 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, handful of spinach, handful of kale This really isn’t rocket science. We chopped up the above ingredients.
