Find THE right one for YOU with Sassoon Salon … I’ve always compared finding the right salon to finding the right partner in your life. Once you find them, you can never let them go. The search to find the right match can be a real struggle. We all go through unfortunately many trials and errors with an array of emotions and of course the occasional heart break. Fortunately for me, I found my salon and the search is over. I have been going to Sassoon Salon in Beverly Hills for about 2 years now and have only had good experiences. The entire staff has always been so warm and welcoming. From the friendly receptionists at the front to the talented stylists and colorists, David and Karen. The entire team listens to what I have to say and offers opinions, tips and realistic suggestions to best treat and care for my hair. I feel so blessed to have moved to LA and to have found a salon with a staff that gets me and most importantly, gets my hair. My hair has never felt as healthy as it does now. The latest collection made to perfection … URBANE. As you know, we love our hair. We love to maintain it and keep up with the latest trends. But sometimes those trends are just too far fetch for our lifestyle. Less is more and that is exactly what you get with Sassoon Salon’s latest SS17 collection that just launched, URBANE. Architecture is used as their key inspiration, believing the most memorable designs are distinct and true to form. Etienne Taenaka, Midwest Regional Salon Director explains the latest collection the best by saying There is beauty in purity. Just as a building has formal structural elements, so does great hair design. The SS17 URBANE collection returns back to the basics of hair with a series of unified looks that perfectly balance the shape of each cut with the color”. Beauty Forecast + Trends | TORQUE We all know I have a lot of hair! So much that I have to be picky with my cuts and colors and who handles my hair. Sassoon Salon has been reviving my hair each and every visit since I moved to LA. Therefore, always my go to for the latest beauty forecast and trends each season. With spring’s arrival I’m already seeing all the new cuts, colors and styles and had to learn more to share with our readers what’s trending in the hair world. My Creative Director, Lina Ryan and Color Director, Dianne Degnan at the Beverly Hills location always keeps me on my toes with whats new. I wish I was more spontaneous to cut my locks and try one of the more bolder trends from their latest 2016 collection, TORQUE. These looks are chic, effortless and so easy to achieve inspired straight from the runways to fit any haircut. Their goal behind TORQUE was to create “The Total Look” combining inspiration from Vidal’s infamous collaborations with Parisian Ye-Ye fashion and jewelry designers of the ’60s. 52 Thursdays Celebrates Fashion For Paws 2014

We were very fortunate to both attend Fashion for Paws this year which was held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. You can always count us in for charity events especially when animals are involved! For those of you who have not heard of this runway show, it is a nationally acclaimed luxury brand event to help benefit the Washington Humane Society. The models who walk in the show agree to raise a minimum of $5,000 in just 10 weeks leading up to the event by taking part in a friendly fundraising competition. They are the bread and butter of this amazing fundraiser. We had so much fun watching these models strut down the aisle with their pups by their side, wearing the latest pieces that DC’s local luxury retailers carry. They were able to raise over $404k by the end of it all AND helped numerous sheltered doggies find forever homes that night! Such a fun event to attend, combining our two favorite things…fashion and dogs! Brilliant idea.
