We may even be able to move in soon!  While living in a hotel has been nice, I am ready to get settled in our new home.  Below are some pictures of the work in progress.  Stay tuned for the big reveal in a few weeks! Notice the sagging beam? This was the major problem with the house.  Now it is fixed and no more sagging floors! Jason, good friend and our contractor, working his magic on our house! Back when we had dirt floors.. Subfloor goes down and electrical goes in! New plumbing in the corner to replace old galvanized pipes. New support post and beam that will eventually be wrapped in an old wood to give it a rustic feel New insulation goes up! Preparing for drywall. Drywall where the kitchen will be New drywall where water heater closet will be and where the built in fidge will be. Now for the fun part! These are the kitchen cabinets we picked out.
