We have mixed emotions as we are having way “too much fun in the sun” especially since it just seemed like yesterday when we were both in Miami for Swim Week checking out the latest swim fashion soon to come. However, Fall has always been our favorite season to shop and dress for. The weather is crisp and cool allowing the luxury to layer and really style your pieces to show off your true personality. And the trends for fall always seem to be a bit more exciting this time of year. Sucker for all White

Hey guys! So it’s been a minute since I’ve done an outfit post. If you have been following our Instagram @fiftytwothursdays, then you are aware that I recently moved to the Golden State. The sky is clear and the flowers are always blooming – no complaints here. However, I do miss my family and close friends. On days like this post, Easter Sunday, having no family to celebrate with can be heartbreaking. I wish I could’ve seen my little nephew and niece race through the yard to find hidden easter eggs. The excitement in their eyes when they spot one and the smiles on their faces as they open their Easter baskets. Thankfully for FaceTime and SnapChat I am able to witness these events from afar. On Easter, the hubby and I attended mass followed with yummy brunch, dressed all in our Sunday’s best. As a “sucker” I naturally opted for an all white look, it seemed appropriate for the celebration. And for those brief moments when a cool breeze passed through I threw on a seersucker blazer. Update Your Wardrobe for under $150

When Sarah and Michelle told me I should contribute a post on fall fashions under $100, I thought, “Umm, well…like, actual good clothes that cost less than $100? Umm…” Which is not to say that I’m some rich snob who only wears $800 shoes. I don’t own any $800 shoes. C’mon, my last name isn’t Rockefeller! (And my husband reads this blog. Hi honey!) Ahem. So, no of course all of my clothes aren’t expensive, but I think I’m a savvy shopper: I find good deals, I tend to buy off-season items on sale and I never set out to shop for, say, a party dress. I see a dress that I love, I buy it and I find a party later. And I always find party worthy of a good dress. That said, I believe in investing in quality. When everything in your closet is well-made and looks good on, you always look good. So after I negotiated my baseline to $150….ish, I set out looking.
