Let’ talk hair. We are all picky about our hair, from what products we put in it, to who manages and maintains our hair. Lucky for me I have an incredible team at Sassoon Salon in Beverly Hills to help in those areas that I have absolutely no clue about. We value our colorists and stylists as much as we value our wine at dinner time. It’s needed for perfection. And that’s exactly what I get each and every visit with colorist and stylist, Dianne and Lina. It’s so important to have a good relationship with your creative team because you are trusting your precious hair in their hands and I trust every second of it with them along with their hair product suggestions that I now swear by (linked all suggestions below). I went in last week with the idea of going for an extreme sombre or ombre of some sort. I showed Dianne a picture for inspiration and she gave me her honest opinion that I probably wouldn’t be content with a darker color surrounding my face. Little Black Jumper

To this day I am still trying to figure out my style. Some days I like to be girly and wear a colorful dress and heels, other days I like to wear a vintage rocker tee, loose jeans and sneakers. I guess I dress for how I feel that day and of course what kind of day I have ahead of me. But one thing I’m always down for is a jumper and anything black so it was love at first sight when this jumper came in the mail. It’s like the new “Little Black Jumper”. Jumpers, rompers, overalls … basically anything with two leg holes and a cute fit. I would say 1/4 of my closet consists of just that because it’s an easy go to with out having to put too much thought in to my look. I usually like to layer it with a cute denim jacket, blazer or an open button down shirt for an extra added detail. And because I’m always super hot or super cold, layering any and every look comes in very handy! Every lady needs a “Little Black Jumper” in their closet. Monochromatic Days in LA

Just another monochromatic day in LA. There is something about a monochromatic outfit that screams happiness to me. Probably because it’s so easy to achieve … just throw together a look with colors all in the same hue, it’s hard to go wrong. We all have many variations of one color in our closet, pick whichever color you are vibing on that day and compose a seamless look that meshes together like those of a perfect beach sunset. I actually based my outfit around my new Henri Bendel satchel. The monochromatic color tones inspired me to find a look that was simple and chic with that effortless factor. And of course my answer to every spring outfit is to throw on white pants. It really lightens up the whole look for a polished, clean style. I always recommend buying two pairs if you find a style you really like that fits you well. More than likely you will wear that pair to the ground, either that or spill something on it. I’ve learned my lesson after way too many bad experiences!
