I love my home state year round but it really shines brightest in the Fall. Since I practically live in DC amongst the traffic and noise, I take every chance I can get to drive out of the city and down those country roads back to my roots. Last weekend I was feeling that itch, so I packed up my bags and headed out to Loudoun for some R&R at Lansdowne Resort and Spa. They set me up with a gorgeous room overlooking the resort, golf course and the incredible fall foliage landscape. They also had a full cheese platter waiting for me upon arrival, they obviously knew the way to my heart! It was my dear friend, Kisten’s birthday, so she joined me at the hotel to kick off our relaxing girls weekend.
