This was well before the possibility of a baby was even realized. Who doesn’t enjoy making story boards and pinning pictures of beautiful nurseries? So I was surprised that when it came time to actually put together a nursery, I was at a complete loss with where to start. I enjoy the visually artistic side of things, especially when it comes to wardrobe assembly, but interior design feels like an entirely foreign concept to me. There is also the disconnect between having a vision and executing that vision. And to add to the dire situation even more, I came to find that my husband was very opinionated about every decision from colors to overall decor. So despite the fact that we thought we had a vision and had been slowly collecting pieces to use in the nursery, we just couldn’t figure out how to decorate our nursery.
