NYFW Spring Trend Report

As NYFW virgins, you can only imagine our excitement to even have received invites to go to some of these shows! When you are a NYFW newbie, you do not receive seats next to Anna Wintour or Chiara Ferragni (sadly) so for most of the shows, we had standing tickets or seats towards the back of the tent which made for some terrible pictures. We learned an insider tip a few days in, which was to stand in “The Pit” with all of the professional photogs, we may have looked a bit out of place in our 6″ stilettos and giant designer bags but we captured some great shots from there on out! We know it may be hard to think about Spring Fashion when we have barely entered Fall but we have to report about what we saw on the runways and what you should expect for the season to come. This may come in handy when you are going through some of your spring/summer pieces and wondering what to get rid of and what to hold on to. NYFW SS15 Street Style

Everyone knows that New York City is known for it’s incredible people watching but during Fashion Week people take it to a whole other level. People come from all over the world to attend the shows, to celebrate fashion and most importantly to get noticed. Lincoln Center drew a pretty wild crowd each day and the photographers were lined up to catch it all; from the fashion forward elite to the most bizarre looks we have ever laid your eyes on. In between shows at Lincoln Center, we made sure to capture some of our favorite street style looks that we witnessed in the midst of all the madness. The Best of Miami Swim Week

Big hair, snakes, barely there suits, celebrities and steamy temps are just a few words to describe what we experienced at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2015 this past week in Miami. This was our first time attending Swim Week and we are sure it won’t be our last since it was quite the experience. We attended pretty much every show and after party that was held at The Raleigh Hotel which left little down time to eat or sleep, so as you can imagine we are a tad bit exhausted. So sorry for the late share! Below are a few of our favorite “stand out” runway moments that we had to share with you right away. Who doesn’t love a Britney Moment? We Are Handsome nailed it. A.Z Araujo show was the most entertaining by far. We loved the variety of shapes and sizes to all different ages of beautiful models walk that walk. Even Adriana de Moura from The Real Housewives of Miami strutted her stuff on the runway! Mara Hoffman never disappoints. Her new collection was inspired by her recent travels to Guatemala with a fresh take marrying bold prints on one side and striking solids on the other.
