A Trip Down 95 to RVA

My husband and I took a trip down 95 to RVA to met up with some old college friends for the weekend. That, coupled with the fall weather, had me reminiscing about those care free days when I would throw on a college hoody, skinny jeans and a pair of Uggz. Yes, I know how cliché that is and I’m not going to lie…I still own a pair and still wear those Uggz when I walkthe fur-baby below 30 degrees. Don’t judge. Well as I mentioned, the overcast skies, scattered showers and brisk, cool weather in Richmond made for perfect cozy, sweater weather. My favorite go to in the fall now is a silk or denim button down shirt layered under a chunky knit sweater. This simple combo creates an effortless element to any fall look and if the weather brings a surprise warm up, you just shed a layer! I added my new joie crepe joggers to complete the look which was perfect since they are incredibly comfortable and perfect for weekends like this. After our whirlwind trip to Miami, we were in desperate need of a night of pampering and relaxation. The Miami heat, high heels and countless hours waiting in line for the next show took a toll on our face, back, feet and overall well being. So you can only imagine how excited we were when Dogvacay.com contacted us to try out their pet sitting services. Their site is so easy to use and we have read nothing but positive reviews and feedback about the company and their sitters. We started by searching their site for a local host and were thrilled to have found a well reviewed sitter that lived near by to come watch our little guys while we headed to the spa. We both went for a casual and comfortable look and carried our new Signature Collection bags from Free Endearment. Sarah is wearing her go-to boyfriend jeans by Zara, white blouse and carrying the Dana bag. Michelle is wearing her favorite white J Band jeans, J Crew chambray button down, white lace tennies by Superga and is also carrying the Kristel Signature Collection clutch. Beyond The Runway: Miami Swim Week

We arrived in Miami early Thursday morning with great anticipation and a very packed schedule ahead of us. We wanted to take full advantage of our visit and take in all that Mercedez Benz Fashion Swim Week 2015 had to offer in the little time that we had. As soon as we unpacked our bags we were off to the Ford Artists Beauty Suite on the Venetian Lady yacht for makeup and hair styling hosted by the ladies behind the charity Style Saves. This was much appreciated after a rough, early flight. Our Ford makeup artist and hair stylist were phenomenal and we thank them for their amazing work and help getting us ready! Poko Pano kicked off MBFW with the very first show on Friday at The Raleigh Hotel pool. We all clinched on to our fans and drastically tried to keep cool in the blistering heat. Thankfully the show was a splash, literally, and we soon forgot about the heat and humidity and enjoyed the show and MBFW 10 Year Anniversary party and opening night event. Grand Opening of Xtend Barre Old Town

We are so excited to announce the Grand Opening of Xtend Barre Old Town this Saturday June 14th! As you guys have seen from our previous posts we absolutely love Xtend Barre and knowing the fabulous owner, Natalie Strahorn, makes all this even more exciting! We are so proud of her and all her accomplishments that she has worked so hard for. This is something you won’t want to miss, promise. If you can’t make the grand opening be sure to check out the client specials at the bottom of the page to check out her chic new studio right in the heart of Old Town Alexandria and get toned up for the Summer! They are going to have three classes that day with the first starting at 8:30am followed by an Open House from 12:30-2pm for people to mingle and check out the studio.
