A manual procedure by which a breech baby can sometimes be turned from buttocks or foot first to head first. This extremely uncomfortable and painful procedure did not work as well. In fact it lead to some very strong contractions afterwards that kept me in the hospital 5 hours after for the fear […]

I’m no expert, by all means, but I was referred an insightful book called “Oh Crap! Potty Training” by Jamie Glowacki and it worked wonders for my little one. In just 3 days we nailed this whole thing which got a lot of friends asking, how?! The book of course goes in to ALL the details, with no question left to ask. The author has dealt with all kinds of personalities and situations which you may too, however she clearly breaks it down how to handle and overcome them all. From poop to those terrible twos and even threes. So again, these are just my major takeaways from the book and what worked for us. Age: Suggests to begin this process within the age of 20-30 months. The younger the more difficult to process and the older, the more constraint. Buy a Potty Training Toilet: They will transition to the big toilet after a month or when they are ready, but having a smaller potty that they can easily run to and assist themselves will help speed up the process. Dedicate a solid 3 days: We started on a Saturday morning and I took Monday off. We didn’t leave the […]

These Bags Are Not Designer … the real mom life. I have to be honest, I have never been too in to self care, health and wellness until lil’ miss Adaline came about. Grey hair, baggy eyes, dark circles and dried skin have never really been a concern until welllllll … love you baby A, but right about the time she arrived. Working a full time job while still coming home and taking care of her for 4-6 hours each week day has brought about more dark circles and fine lines than I could ever imagine. All I know is that my baggy eyes don’t lie, and girl … these bags sure as hell are not designer. “MOMLIFE” is stamped on my forhead for all to be seen, and it’s time to take action. The past month I have really made the EFFORT to put a little more thought in to myself. It has been baby, baby, baby for a year and I have lost track on my own self care. Now that she […]
