My husband found this little gem when he was back home and was amazing enough to share with me.  So now I am sharing with you..  I present to you The Calvert Party Encyclopedia, published in 1965.  The book is full of vintage cocktail recipes, quirky hors d’oeuvres and party ideas for any occasion. I thought since New Year’s is upon us, I would share with you the champagne cocktails and a few of the hors d’oeuvres.
