You really see it all when it comes to Fashion Week. The good, the bad and the ugly. One of my favorite parts about this fashion circus is the people watching, it’s almost better than the runway shows. I pull so much inspiration from what I see on the streets in New York and even if that was all I went to NYFW for, it would be worth it. This fashion week was a little bit quieter for me than the ones in years past. I went to less shows, had more meetings, was able to meet up with friends and actually eat meals. Usually we are so busy running from show to show that we end up skipping lunch and dinner and lord knows that none of the NYFW parties that we ever attend serve meals. I guess that is just a fashion thing, no one eats. NYFW was also a tad disorganized this year, which was to be expected after Mercedes Benz dropped the event after last season. NYFW 15: Street Style

After attending New York Fashion Week for my second time, I noticed that the street style you see outside of Lincoln Center is almost as entertaining as the new collections you see on the runway. People come from far and wide to see and be seen in front of Lincoln Center, they dress to be noticed and linger in hopes to get their photo taken by top fashion photographers. It was beyond freezing in New York, so there was really a wide range of what people were wearing. Some were dressed weather appropriate with warm hats and furs, others were dressed in shorts for spring and some had birds on their heads…no lie. Here is a glimpse into the good, the bad and the ugly of street style at NYFW 15 from Fall/Winter 2015. I’ll let you be the judge which is which. This girl had it right: She grabbed her comforter from her childhood bedroom and wrapped up. Smart move. I snapped this photo of SJP after I almost ran into her going into Lincoln Center. Everyone knows that New York City is known for it’s incredible people watching but during Fashion Week people take it to a whole other level. People come from all over the world to attend the shows, to celebrate fashion and most importantly to get noticed. Lincoln Center drew a pretty wild crowd each day and the photographers were lined up to catch it all; from the fashion forward elite to the most bizarre looks we have ever laid your eyes on. In between shows at Lincoln Center, we made sure to capture some of our favorite street style looks that we witnessed in the midst of all the madness. We arrived in NYC for New York Fashion Week and have been busy bees, snapping photos at our favorite shows, capturing the some amazing street style and taking in some pretty cool parties as well.
