Football season has officially started, the seasonal Starbucks lattes are finally back, yellow school buses are making their rounds and brisk, cool nights are here and sticking around. So many traditional signs to let us know that Fall is amongst us and we are loving every minute of it. The early days of fall are always the most fun to dress for. So many transitional pieces to carry from summer to fall to even winter. The minimalist trend is one of our favorites by far. This simplistic, effortless and refined chic look is perfect for the transitioning weather, with fitted silhouettes and light layering pieces. Tights, boots and some killer wrap coats or oversized throws will take you to the next season until all you want to wear are your comfy, go to sweats come February! We wanted to showcase our favorite looks from H&M featuring the minimalist trend for this season. These looks could easily be worn for a date night out and even to the office if you throw on the cardigan. The Evil Eye: More than just Jewelry

Since I was little I have always been fascinated with Greek mythology – mythical gods who ruled the world and used the Greek islands as their play grounds. Each story has a meaning or lesson, many of which I carry with me to this day. Naturally I was obsessed with the the Evil Eye pieces that I found from Carré Jewelry. The concept of the evil eye is widespread in Mediterranean countries, with its roots planted in ancient Greece. The purpose of the evil eye symbol, also known as the matiasma, is to ward off the effects of the evil eye. To “fight fire with fire” basically if ever an evil eye may fall on to you… I hope I’m covered in this department with the matching Lady Luck necklace and bracelet! We are so excited that it’s finally starting to warm up here in DC and beginning to feel more like spring, especially after the bizarre weather we had just a few days ago. With the sun finally out and temps reaching close to 70 degrees today we felt it was about time to bring out the skirt and bare legs!
