How To Wear Leather In Spring

Even though the weather has warmed up, it doesn’t mean you have to pack away all of your most loved leather pieces! I am a huge fan of styling leather and I try to incorporate it into my wardrobe, regardless of the season. Style your favorite pair of leather leggings with a muscle tee or a soft plaid top (like the Rails shirt I am wearing in these photos, so worth the investment!) and a pair of flat or heeled sandals and you have an edgy springtime look. When wearing a leather bottom, I usually carry my denim jacket so that I have something to throw on when it cools down at night. These J.Mendel leather pants have been a favorite of mine since I found them on sale at Ella Rue last fall and I haven’t been able to take them off since! Sucker for all White

Hey guys! So it’s been a minute since I’ve done an outfit post. If you have been following our Instagram @fiftytwothursdays, then you are aware that I recently moved to the Golden State. The sky is clear and the flowers are always blooming – no complaints here. However, I do miss my family and close friends. On days like this post, Easter Sunday, having no family to celebrate with can be heartbreaking. I wish I could’ve seen my little nephew and niece race through the yard to find hidden easter eggs. The excitement in their eyes when they spot one and the smiles on their faces as they open their Easter baskets. Thankfully for FaceTime and SnapChat I am able to witness these events from afar. On Easter, the hubby and I attended mass followed with yummy brunch, dressed all in our Sunday’s best. As a “sucker” I naturally opted for an all white look, it seemed appropriate for the celebration. And for those brief moments when a cool breeze passed through I threw on a seersucker blazer. Spring Trend: Blush Crush

I am usually a sucker for all things black but this spring I am ditching the black skinnies and blazers for some lighter hues. I am absolutely loving all-white looks with pops of pastels for spring and think that this trend we are going to see a lot more of when weather warms up a bit. Lighter colors give off a luxurious vibe and surprisingly you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to achieve it.
