Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Vodka costs less than dinner for two. While this is very true, I don’t entirely recommend sloshing down a bottle of vodka while dressed up in your finest white dress. Things could get a bit messy, so I recommend changing into something a bit more comfy if that is where the evening is looking like it’s going to take you. If you’re brave enough to fight the crowds tonight or even if you plan to celebrate this weekend, instead of going with a classic red dress, why not switch it up and wear a sexy white number? It was love at first sight when I found this white bodycon dress by Australian designer Bless’ed Are The Meek while shopping online. While I haven’t actually worn it out on a date with my hubby yet, it will be first in the queue when we decide to head out somewhere fancy. But seriously, back to the roses. Every woman loves roses, whether it’s Valentine’s Day or just an ordinary Tuesday. Leather and Silk: The Perfect Holiday Pairing… With one holiday down and two more on the horizon, its time to start thinking about gift giving and what you will wear to all the holiday soirees that are upon us. Christmas is my favorite time of year, not for the gift receiving but the time spent with friends and family. I don’t discriminate when it comes to parties, I love them all, but nothing comes close to comparing to a Christmas party and with so many of them coming up in the next few weeks, you will need to make sure that you have the right look for that holiday soirée. The type of party that you are attending will really determine the dress our outfit that you will wear. While many of the parties may be cocktail attire or ugly Christmas sweater themed, others may be a bit more casual. Blogger Scene was created by our friends and Natalie and Erika of The Fashionably Broke and Ashley of Ashley in DC to help educate and bring bloggers together to learn the ins and outs of blogging as a business. I was extremely excited that I was asked to speak on this year’s panel along with my office mates Meg Biram and Claire Ashley (you should check them out btw- these ladies are legit) as well as Mel from “Sarah, Ty, & Mel” on DC’s 107.3”.
