On our 7 week long van road trip across the country, we stopped at a bucket list location of mine in Utah called Amangiri. I’ve been eyeing this resort for years and when Casey told me our route through Utah (which put us miles from the resort) I figured it was destiny. Casey hadn’t heard of Amangiri so he had no idea what he was getting into and literally fell off his chair when I told him how much one night would cost us. I only convinced him because I told him it would be my treat and booked for one night because it was soo darn expensive. I figured that since we were living in a van for 7 weeks, one night in a lux hotel would be a-ok. The price tag is steep, and I was pretty uncomfortable booking at $2000 per night but I pulled the trigger anyway bc yolo and hoped and prayed that the experience would be worth the dollar signs. I had lots of questions from you guys while we were staying at Amangiri so I thought I’d break it all down for you here in hopes to help you make your decision if […]

There’s nothing like coming out of months of quarantining in sweats and going straight into a bikini. Am I right? Barely there bikinis may be trending on TikTok but lets be real, nobody has time for that after what 2020 has put us through. High-waisted bikinis have been my best friend this season because they help hide all the sour dough I consumed during quarantine. I love this style the perfect suit if you’re not ready to commit to a full on one-piece yet but still want a bit more tummy coverage. I’ve put dozens of high-waisted brands and styles to the test over the past few seasons and am here to report that Lspace suits are where it’s at. The ribbing on the suit helps pull everything in and the high waisted cut gives the illusion of legs for days. I’ve rounded up my favorite Lspace styles this season below with links to shop. Shop My Favorite High Waisted Suits By Clicking The Image Below: Not sponsored, just had to share these suits with you guys bc they are that good. xo Sarah

Many people saw the #badasslands hashtag pop up in their social media newsfeed last week but even though the #badlands have legions of new admirers, quite a few of them still have no idea where they actually are. The hashtag may have started over the climate change controversy but hopefully it will encourage millions of people to make the trek out to soak in the extreme and magical natural wonder that is Badlands National Park. A long time favorite place for musicians, writers, and artists to explore mind altering experiences and connect with the natural world given its topography and location, miles away from light pollution. Visitor experience can be so out of this world that the Badlands often play other planets on TV, most famously portraying the bug planet in the 90’s cult classic “Starship Troopers”. Located only 30 miles from my husband’s family ranch Badlands National Park and the surrounding Buffalo Gap Grasslands have become a favorite place to visit on trips home to see the family and always a highlight for our visitors and guests. You probably have seen the photos of Badlands National Park but no matter how high the resolution no camera can fully capture the magic energy of […]

Staying motivated to keep with your fitness routine while traveling is beyond hard. There are so many distractions, things to do and people to see, who has time to work out? Admittedly, sometimes there aren’t enough hours in the day and you either can’t get in a gym sesh or don’t want to because you are too busy exploring. Believe me I get it! But there is balance to be found even when on the road. When I’m traveling for work or for fun, I try to at least get a good workout in once or twice. I don’t let it dictate my schedule or get in the way of my plans, I just make it a priority to get it done. After all, if you can spare an hour or two, then you have no excuse. I normally try to drop into a Crossfit when I’m on the road because I love seeing how the different gyms are run, plus I always seem to make a new friend and get a killer new t-shirt as well. But if my time is even more limited and I don’t think I will have time to make it to Crossfit, I will […]
