Now that we are officially in Spring, it’s time to slide in to some of the trendiest spring slides but not break the budget. Not sure about you, but I’m tired of spending so much on the “it” sandal of the season just for it to go out of style the next. I will invest on pieces that I know will never go out of style such as the Hermes Oran sandal but hesitant on others. Plus I got some kiddos at home that I need to clothe and feed. SO! It’s all a bit overwhelming and before you know it we have slid right in to the next season with the next trends and next must haves to waist your money on. SO when I choose which trends I want to sport around this Holiday, I try to be very selective. This year I did all of my fall and winter shopping at Bevello because of their wide selection of clothes and accessories, each carefully selected to cater to all trends and for a variety of tastes and styles. Never a wrong time for polka dot .. As Marc Jacobs so eloquently put it “I don’t think there is ever a wrong time for a polka dot …”! My thoughts exactly Mr. Jacobs, because there never really is. As we endure scorching temperatures here in LA, reaching 97 degrees yesterday, it’s been quite challenging to get excited for fall. So I shall call this my “transitional look” with some spunky bows and polka dots of course. A light weight dress like this is perfect in these awkward days as we patiently wait. Patiently wait for the temperatures to drop so that we can finally throw on those boots that keep staring at us in the closet and peacefully sip on our steaming hot seasonal drinks with out wiping sweat off our foreheads. I paired this dress with simple, strappy heels and a denim jacket over the shoulders for when the chillier LA evenings creep around again.
