I had a difficult time coming up with a theme for the nursery. I don’t personally like a lot of pink stuff and didn’t want her room to be too princess like, however I still wanted to feel like I had a little princess. My happy medium was to keep it boho chic with soft pink and tan colors adding a couple pops of green from succulents and a few faux flowers. I was happy with the results and my little flower child seems to dig it so far too! Now having a sweet baby girl, I feel like I have tried to get in touch with my feminine side a bit more. I’ve found myself eyeing the floral dresses and softer tones over the usual dark or muted colors paired back to sneakers or slides. I don’t know how realistic this look is in real life but it’s fun to play dress up every once and a while, right? I embrace an all white outfit all year around. The white on white combo always looks so effortless and chic and it’s a no brainer when coming up with outfits which is a plus in my book. This trend will always be in style from one season to the next and is a great statement outfit. Perfect for events and parties when you want to stand out, but maybe not for a wedding. 😜 Here are 5 helpful tips on how to wear all white outfits. Mix white textures: Always try mixing the textures in your outfit to give your look some depth and character. If you are wearing white silk pants – pair it back to a sweater or jersey material top. I wore these lace shorts with a jersey tank and structured blazer for that extra element. Add in neutrals: Nude and silver accessories are always best to keep the look clean. Cabin Fever

I guess Cabin Fever may not be the best title, more like the opposite of just that. I have been sitting back in LA, with the fan blowing directly on me as the temperature has been reaching mid-90s, observing my friends and family back home on the East Coast enjoying the cool, brisk, fall weather. I was jealous, sad, hot – I had to get out and find me a piece of fall. A heaven, somewhere where the foliage is prominent, the air is brisk and the view is perfection. My little family (hubs, fur baby and I) packed our bags and set off for a weekend get away. Our destination was in Northern California at the cutest cabin that sat on the side of a mountain in Twain Harte, just an hour or so out from Yosemite National Park. We left on a Friday and got caught in terrible LA traffic due to unexpected mudslides which delayed us about 4 hours … but 9.5 hours later, we made it! NYFW Day 1: Miss Sixty

I am feeling pretty excited over here because it is finally starting to feel like fall. After a scorching hot summer, I think we are all ready to pack away our summer clothes and pull out our fall wardrobes. Summer is usually my favorite season but after way too many scorching hot days , I have found myself looking forward to fall more than ever this season. Since I was attending New York Fashion Week and was in need of some new looks, I was able to get a jump start on my fall shopping. I do a ton of my shopping online but when I need something last minute, Nordstrom Pentagon City is always my first stop. It is literally less than a mile from my house which has been both a blessing and a curse. They seriously had soo many cute things in for fall that it made it really hard to choose. I am currently on a suede mini kick and thought that this warm honey brown hue really screamed fall, also didn’t hurt that it was only $78.
