It wasn’t an easy move but we are so thankful that we did. LA has brought so many new opportunities for us with new explorations and adventures to take on. Never a dull moment in “The City of Angels”. I will forever be a tourist here in LA. Last Friday we received an exiting email, one we had been waiting for almost months. We finally got tickets to the Rain Room at LACMA! Who knew checking out an art exhibition would be so difficult. Nonetheless, we were thrilled to finally go and made a day out of it by exploring all that LACMA had to offer. From the infamous Rain Room and Urban Light to original artwork from Andy Warhol and Picasso … we saw it all. Our friendship now consists with a lot of texting, face time and emails… not the same as it used to be, but we make it work. The upside is that when one of us comes to visit, it’s a jam pack reunion filled with photo shoots, meetings, events and of course wine nights! This go around Sarah flew out to LA for an event we were invited to and we made sure to get some catch up time in between the craziness with some cake decorating and pool lounging. Cake decorating? I know right, but it was so much fun! Duff’s Cakemix is the first do-it-yourself decorating studio using Chef Duff’s world famous cakes and cupcakes. We got to be the artists and create our masterpiece which of course consisted of hashtags and wineglasses, but what did you expect?
