I have taken on a whole new meaning for wearing all white… Yes we all know it means purity or the perfect color (or lack of) to wear in the summer to make that tan stand out bright like a rainbow, but now a days I have taken a whole new meaning to wearing all white. It’s my choice of color (again, or lack of color) to wear to hide the tremendous amount of baby spit up and unfortunately vomit that sweet Adaline produces every feeding. More like every burp, but now that she is a little over 3 months it has progressed to just once or twice a feeding. I wear white to cover up that spit up, because to be honest with you I’m tired of changing clothes every feeding. What’s the harm in some spit up if you don’t see it, am I right?! Shhhh. Don’t tell. I had terrrrrrible reflux when I was pregnant. In my third trimester you could find me huddled over the toilet every night because as soon as I laid down my stomach wanted to do the opposite. I embrace an all white outfit all year around. The white on white combo always looks so effortless and chic and it’s a no brainer when coming up with outfits which is a plus in my book. This trend will always be in style from one season to the next and is a great statement outfit. Perfect for events and parties when you want to stand out, but maybe not for a wedding. 😜 Here are 5 helpful tips on how to wear all white outfits. Mix white textures: Always try mixing the textures in your outfit to give your look some depth and character. If you are wearing white silk pants – pair it back to a sweater or jersey material top. I wore these lace shorts with a jersey tank and structured blazer for that extra element. Add in neutrals: Nude and silver accessories are always best to keep the look clean. But if you are feeling vibrant a pop of color is always fun for events and parties where you really want to make a statement. Tan before hand: I definitely don’t fake and bake anymore. Monochromatic Days in LA

Just another monochromatic day in LA. There is something about a monochromatic outfit that screams happiness to me. Probably because it’s so easy to achieve … just throw together a look with colors all in the same hue, it’s hard to go wrong. We all have many variations of one color in our closet, pick whichever color you are vibing on that day and compose a seamless look that meshes together like those of a perfect beach sunset. I actually based my outfit around my new Henri Bendel satchel. The monochromatic color tones inspired me to find a look that was simple and chic with that effortless factor. And of course my answer to every spring outfit is to throw on white pants. It really lightens up the whole look for a polished, clean style. I always recommend buying two pairs if you find a style you really like that fits you well. More than likely you will wear that pair to the ground, either that or spill something on it. I’ve learned my lesson after way too many bad experiences! Sucker for all White

Hey guys! So it’s been a minute since I’ve done an outfit post. If you have been following our Instagram @fiftytwothursdays, then you are aware that I recently moved to the Golden State. The sky is clear and the flowers are always blooming – no complaints here. However, I do miss my family and close friends. On days like this post, Easter Sunday, having no family to celebrate with can be heartbreaking. I wish I could’ve seen my little nephew and niece race through the yard to find hidden easter eggs. The excitement in their eyes when they spot one and the smiles on their faces as they open their Easter baskets. Thankfully for FaceTime and SnapChat I am able to witness these events from afar. On Easter, the hubby and I attended mass followed with yummy brunch, dressed all in our Sunday’s best. As a “sucker” I naturally opted for an all white look, it seemed appropriate for the celebration. And for those brief moments when a cool breeze passed through I threw on a seersucker blazer.
