Living in sunny LA I shouldn’t be complaining given what transpired last week in Northeast. However, it has been abnormally cold here this winter with El Niño gracing us with its presence. In fact, this week has been one of the coldest with heavy down pour and temps in the low 50’s, even droppings in to the 40’s! Brrr… numbers I didn’t expect to see here especially after we just enjoyed a couple of incredibly warm and blissfully sunny days just a week ago. It was so warm that I was able to wear my new off the shoulder top. I had sat it aside in the closet thinking I wouldn’t be able to bring it out for a few more weeks. Clearly I was wrong. This little number from SheIN is so cute and at an insanely great price. I can’t wait to pair it with pure white jeans or cut off shorts once Spring finally arrives. Believe it or not, I had never even visited LA prior to moving here. I like taking chances and the timing felt right in my life. I’m so glad I took the plunge because as you can see above… I’m quite the happy clam at high tide. What I love about LA is it’s a melting pot. The food options are endless, finding the most delicious and unique spots is my mission. It’s one of my favorite things to do on the weekend, making a quality Date Night time exploring new restaurants with the hubby, mainly it’s an excuse to wear heels. We tend to stay in our bubble in West Hollywood far too often, so this night we decided to venture to downtown, where the creative graffiti is abundant and the lights are colorful. Of course this created a perfect outfit back drop too 😉 I’m loving this lil’ black romper from Byer California and how effortlessly chic it is.
