Maternity Clothes can be so daunting and unnecessary. I learned this from the first pregnancy and made sure the second go around not to waist my time and money. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few essentials I did pick up that will for sure come in handy like maternity leggings and tank support. My go to’s are from Branqi for basics. You will for sure be thankful for those come third trimester but for the most part a few cute dresses and styling techniques can carry you through out all 3 trimesters and beyond! Here are a few things to look out for when shopping and styling for that bump plus some pieces I own and love. Find pieces that you will feel confident wearing years to come even after the baby! Don’t waist your money on pieces you won’t wear again, save it for the million other things the new babe will need. Sundress: Of course this is more helpful in the Spring and Summer but an empire waist dress or tent dress is perfect for that growing belly.

Long vests have been around for some time now, but they have finally become a staple piece on both the streets and the runways. After seeing them practically everywhere, I decided I should give it a go myself. And let’s face it, since mother nature has decided to skip spring altogether and head straight into summer, the last thing we will be wanting to wear is something that has sleeves. There are boundless possibilities when it comes to putting an outfit together with a long vest like this one and I am still finding new ways to wear it today. When it’s warm outside, wear it with a sleeveless top; when it gets cooler, wear it with a long sleeve shirt underneath; when it gets downright freezing, wear it […]

As we wrap up our Fashion Week posts, we look back on some of our favorite moments of the week. We saw what’s to come for spring, attended fun parties, spotted celebrities, caught up with old friends and made some new ones. Being the last NYFW post of the series, we thought we would share what took place beyond the shows at Lincoln Center. As new members of Reward Style, we were beyond thrilled to be invited to their exclusive blogger party held on the rooftop at The Empire Hotel. For those who don’t know, Reward Style is a web-tool that helps top-tier style bloggers monetize content, long story short–they help us get paid!! They threw one hell of a party where they served up crafty cocktails, we mingled with good company and something all bloggers love- they gave out SWAG! To answer the question you are all thinking, no the swag bags did not include the Louboutins and Prada bag pictured above (wishful thinking) but they were uber generous! Check back soon for more info on Reward Style where we will explain how it works and how you can shop from our website and Instagram. Sarah is pictured here wearing […]
