Dressing for El Nino

When I went back home last month I had the opportunity to embrace the change of seasons which I had been missing out on in LA. Rain, foliage and lots of cold weather, I got it all. Well … I spoke too soon clearly because it has been raining cats and dogs this whole week with chilly weather that this part of California rarely sees. El Nino has made its presence and I’m loving every minute of it. And with rainy days, comes rain attire. I love boots that are trendy and fashionable but still serve a purpose of what they were originally designed for … protection. These Cat boots have held up their end in mud, dirt and rain. A Trip to the Local Farmer’s Market

Every chance I get, I try to make a trip to the local farmer’s market on Sundays. I can’t think of a better way to start any day than walking the market tents and scoping out the produce, all while supporting small businesses and local farmers. My hubby and I really enjoy cooking together. It’s a creative outlet for us and sometimes it is the only bonding time we have with our crazy work schedules. During our visits to the farmer’s market, we find inspiration for planning our next meal while perusing all the local fruits and veggies that they have to choose from. That night we made zucchini spaghetti with fresh, homemade tomato sauce. So tasty! If you want to try out our sauce recipe you can find it here! The Perfect Tee

We are sure we are not the only ones that are constantly on a mission to find the perfect tee. Let’s be honest, as soon as temps hit above 90’s and creep into the 100’s, a flattering tee and some cut off shorts are always the go to.
