					<description><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m not sure if I should be happy or sad that the coldest southern California gets is the low 50&#8217;s. The change of seasons and cold weather tied to the holidays this time of year really carries a special sentiment and makes me miss being back home on the East Coast. I suppose when I start hearing about the cold, bitter days and slushy roads with predictions for more snow, then maybe I will feel a bit more excited about making my way to the beach in the middle of February like when I first moved here. But for now I will just have to partake in fall dressing with light layering and knee high boots any chance I get. Layering a white or denim button down under a shirt always elevates your outfit and gives that unexpected take on a basic top. I love popping a crisp collar on top of another texture for a sophisticated, clean layering which is perfect for achieving a cozy look with out being too hot.
