Good Things Are Popping Up

Good things are popping up … 18 weeks now and boy can I tell you it has been much more difficult to cater to this growing bump than I expected. I’ve been in that awkward period where I can still wear my stretchy frame jeans but after I eat it’s game over and I reach for the closest rubber band to allow my belly to breathe. For the past few weeks I have been trying to hide the small bump since I’ve just been feeling pudgy. In fact, when I look in the mirror I forget that I’m even pregnant with all the flowy tops I’ve been wearing. But I think it’s finally time I embrace the bump because only good things are popping up from here on out! Since my belly has finally “popped” in literally just the past few days, dresses have been my preferred choice of outfit. At least while I wait for a few maternity jean deliveries to make their way to my door step. Light Spring Layering

The sun finally made an appearance this weekend and we were very anxious to make our way outside. There were a few chilly breezes, so we were really feeling the layering pieces for this post. I always feel most confident when adding a blazer or leather jacket to an outfit to pull together a complete, effortless look which can easily be dressed up or down (depending on the shoes and accessories, of course.) We chose flats and a statement necklace as we took Louis on a walk before heading off to brunch to enjoy the weather. Pictured above- Jeans: Zara bf Jeans. Top: Enza Costa. New Years Party Looks

We hope these outfit ideas help when you are putting together a look for your NYE night. We styled four looks (from our own closets) for different party options, from a night in to a big soiree in the city. You don’t have to go out and buy a new outfit for NYE, you can find many items that you already have in your closet, just get creative! Just remember to wear something that makes you feel beautiful on the inside and out and that is comfortable enough to dance the night away.
