Just your typical mad for plaid this fall … I love fall and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone here. It’s that crisp feel and change of weather, the festive decorating and anticipation for each holiday, the cozy sweaters and boots galore … there is seriously just so much to toast about. As a new mom adventuring in to her very first season with baby girl, I have been much more cautious of my purchases this fall when I normally go a bit bananas. I need versatility and comfort while not spending a fortune. Because let’s be real … from the events, costumes, decorations and presents (oh boy …the presents), this might be the most expensive season to date. With all the expenses circulating, this doesn’t mean I want to sacrifice fashion which makes fall our all time favorite time. Now of course when I think of fall I immediately think of plaid. It’s the one pattern that is always in fashion this time of year. The print size may change or perhaps the color but it’s one typical trend to invest in as it will for sure be back around the very next year, pinky promise. I found this button down dress […]

I’m actually not a big leopard lady, but when I saw this little number my imagination went wild. For those of you like me, who enjoy simplicity, a bag like this can bring you wonders. It’s that pop of color, pattern, and un-expected detail that really completes a simple look like this. When I was thinking of outfits to put together with this leopard bag, I immediately thought of my safari inspired shorts that seemed most appropriate for the occasion. It’s definitely not an every day look for me but I enjoyed running around the Art District in downtown LA exploring some cool creations, some what like a safari. These boots literally were made for walking, because somehow I managed to walk in them all day, which is rare for me in heels. If you haven’t invested in a pair of over the knee boots this season, it’s not too late, because the same pair are now on sale. Snag them before they sell out! I’ve linked a few of my other favorite leopard print bags below if you are feeling the slightest bit inspired from this post. Enjoy 😉 Wearing- Blazer (Helmut Lang); Shorts (Iro); Tank (JBrand); Bracelet (Victoria Emerson); Bag (Stella McCartney); […]

Can you believe it’s December 8th already? Seemed like just yesterday we were sitting around the table enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with friends and family and now we are in full swing prepping for the holidays and the coming of the new year. 2016 is approaching quicker than I had expected and the anxiety has officially settled in. I have a tendency to get caught up in the chaos when I should be relaxing and taking in the last few days of the year and reflecting on what I have accomplished and what I hope to accomplish in the new year. So this time around, I’m going to take things slow, relax and enjoy the holidays and the loved ones around me. My husband and I always plan one night a week for date night to ensure we are doing just that. No distractions around us, just good ol’ fashion conversation. And with the holidays around the corner, for this date night I attempted more of a festive look with my new Byer California top. They are always my go to place for fun affordable pieces, especially for date nights. I’m still loving this black romper I found from their site and […]

Think Pink as this wall has me feeling like a little girl in a candy shop. Bubble gum, lolli pops, cotton candy, and all the sweet sugary stuff that my parents tried so hard not to give to an already high-strung child. As a little one (i.e. until I graduated from College) I always had a problem of consuming way too much candy. I’ve learned my lessons after a few root canals, cavities, and fillings, now I’m much better with my addiction 😉 There is one trend that has made a come back that really brings back fun, childhood memories which is the matching set look. My mom used to always dress my sister and I in not only matching color coordinated outfits but matching sets as well. I may not have been a fan of that back then but I’m loving the concept now. I mean who wouldn’t want an already matching set that you can mix and match with other pieces creating so many effortless, alternative outfits. This matching set is the perfect example. The shorts are high waisted, so pairing it with a white crop top and a denim jacket will give it more of a laid back look. For night, I […]
