Ferocious Fashion Forecasting: Animal print continues to be a trend that won’t be going away anytime soon … What is fashion forecasting? It’s the study and prediction of fashion based on the past, present and of course the future. To get specific because we love details, according to Wikipedia its the prediction of colors, fabrics, textures, materials, prints, graphics, beauty/grooming, accessories, footwear, street style, and other styles that will be presented on the runway and in the stores for the upcoming seasons. It’s what every designer does to keep up with this fashion world by gathering information from consumers. Anywhere from whats going on globally to what’s effecting consumers directly to predict future trends. And from what I have gathered from those forecasting, animal prints are not going away anytime soon. They are the past, present and future. And why wouldn’t they be? 2018 was a strong year of ferocious, fierce women standing up for what’s right and using their freedom of speech. My name is Michelle, and I’m a sucker for Zara . . . Yes, it’s true. I have a problem like most of us do. I’m addicted to Zara. Though to me it can be quite an overwhelming place to shop with all the trends of the season and most of the time just too much to look at. It’s exhausting, yet I keep coming back for more. Like an addict, and the fact that they have kids clothing too?! Done, just take my wallet and all my money. I will just eat rice and beans for the rest of my life with my daughter (true story, that’s all she will eat. sigh). But seriously, what I do love about them is that they do have all the trends and must haves for the season. SO if you are up for the shopping challenge and have an idea of what you are looking for they are, to me, the most practical and affordable place to shop for all the seasons trends that you may not be ready to invest in. A Whole New Meaning For ALL WHITE

I have taken on a whole new meaning for wearing all white… Yes we all know it means purity or the perfect color (or lack of) to wear in the summer to make that tan stand out bright like a rainbow, but now a days I have taken a whole new meaning to wearing all white. It’s my choice of color (again, or lack of color) to wear to hide the tremendous amount of baby spit up and unfortunately vomit that sweet Adaline produces every feeding. More like every burp, but now that she is a little over 3 months it has progressed to just once or twice a feeding. I wear white to cover up that spit up, because to be honest with you I’m tired of changing clothes every feeding. What’s the harm in some spit up if you don’t see it, am I right?! Shhhh. Don’t tell. I had terrrrrrible reflux when I was pregnant. In my third trimester you could find me huddled over the toilet every night because as soon as I laid down my stomach wanted to do the opposite. Surprise: We May Need A Bigger Closet

Surprise! I think we may need a bigger closet now … Have you ever had that small, nagging feeling that something is just a little off, but you can’t put your finger exactly on what it is? Well I was having that feeling, but it wasn’t quite like any way I’ve ever felt before. It wasn’t exactly like those days where I questioned whether I left the hot iron on or forgot to lock the front door. I had a feeling that I need to be protective or cautious of something, but of what? On August 19th, 2016 I was 4 days late but this wasn’t too shocking since I’ve been irregular before. Our friends were in town visiting and we were planning on taking them to our favorite sushi joint, Sugarfish. But I just couldn’t shake the funny feeling I was having and the possibility of pregnancy began to come to my mind more and more. I decided I had to take a pregnancy test before indulging in delicious sashimi that evening. Sure enough… two tests later and an ultra sound to prove it, surprise, I’m pregnant!
