Pink has never really been my go to color, in fact I usually try to avoid it at all costs. But after realizing that 99% of the dresses hanging in my closet were black, I thought I should probably branch out and add some color to my wardrobe. With wedding season in full effect and since I am attending 8 of them this summer/fall, I have been stocking up on dresses that I can wear to rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and all other wedding related events. After showing up to a wedding earlier this year wearing the same dress as another attendee, I decided that maybe I needed to expand my search and dive a bit deeper into the inter-webs for dresses that I would be sure I wouldn’t be “twinning” in.
This dress caught my eye when I was browsing online because of the the way the fabric draped on the model and how free flowing it was. I love a dress that moves with you and comes to life on the dance floor because when JT’s new hit comes on, you best believe I will be breaking out the dance moves! It is light and airy which is perfect for those end of summer wedding events when it’s still a bit hot and sticky out. Best part is that you can even get away with eating that second helping of cake, since it isn’t clinging on to your body.
While pink isn’t usually my first pick, lighter shades of blush and peach have been catching my eye a little bit more as we start to transition into fall. I love peach paired with slate grey or white accessories. This dress also comes in black and white and since it is only $50, you can afford to buy it in every color and that is just peachy!
