It’s all a bit overwhelming and before you know it we have slid right in to the next season with the next trends and next must haves to waist your money on. SO when I choose which trends I want to sport around this Holiday, I try to be very selective. This year I did all of my fall and winter shopping at Bevello because of their wide selection of clothes and accessories, each carefully selected to cater to all trends and for a variety of tastes and styles. Hello Third Trimester!

Hello Third Trimester! I’m in the final stretch, the trimester that ends with meeting my baby girl! I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am to meet her, to hold her in my arms and kiss her tiny little nose. This journey has been an adventure to say the least. I have had plenty of highs and of course some lows which I wanted to share with you. Now of course my lows aren’t anything really to complain about because there is nothing I wouldn’t do for this little girl, but everyone has got them, right? I just recently had my baby shower back home in DC, and the question I was asked more than I could count was “How are you feeling?”. My reply to all was that I couldn’t complain. I don’t always feel great, that’s for sure but it’s hard to complain when you know what it’s worth. That and boy have I heard some terrible pregnancy stories. Friends that couldn’t keep a meal down their entire pregnancy or those dealing with preeclampsia, swollen ankles, diabetes, bleeding gums, the list goes on. Exploring San Francisco … A few weeks back we made our way up to San Francisco for a little family reunion. Something you may not know about me, but most of my family lives in northern California. My mom and dad actually met, fell in love and graduated from San Francisco Sate University. Shortly after my dad began his journey in the military. 10 moves later, we now call Virginia home. However San Fransisco, has always been my second home. It brings back the fondest memories of when I was little, visiting my family and feeling right at home. Playing softball with my cousins, shopping with my grandmother and stealing candy at of my grandpa’s candy drawer are just to name a few. So when my parents planned a trip back to their hometown for my dad’s high school reunion, we jumped at the opportunity to pack up and fly up north for an extended nostalgic weekend. It was a short stay but we managed a good balance of playing catch up with the family while doing all the touristy stuff.
