Since the weather been a touch bipolar lately, I am really not sure how I’m supposed to dress. Do I bundle up, wear shorts, or both? A crazy question to be asking yourself in mid-January. When I shot this look, it was chilly out, so I dressed for it. I layered on my favorite new shift dress, fuzzy teddy bear jacket and my go-to over-the-knee boots. This is a classic look that you might see me wearing multiple times this winter (if it actually starts acting like it) because it’s comfortable yet cozy. Well except for your mid-thighs, they can get a bit chilly when the wind is whipping. So when you really have no idea how to dress for the weather, layering is your best option. That way you can shed layers until you feel comfortable. Nothing is worse than being too hot or too cold and being stuck in your outfit all day long. I’m always a fan of shift dresses for work or for going out because they are flattering on almost any body type and they feel great on. They never hug you in the wrong places and always allow room for dessert! Shop The Look: Wearing: […]

Peace of mind is everything. Have you ever felt like you were being followed or in a sticky situation and you felt helpless that if something were to happen no one would have any idea how to find you? Not going to lie, the thought has crossed my mind a time or two. Even though I feel strong and have a gun in my home for home protection, I still feel like if I were to be attacked that I would be completely powerless. WiseWear, an emerging tech company, realized this fear that women were having and did something about it. They created a fitbit like bracelet that not only tracks your steps, calories, and distance traveled but also has a security feature that will contact your loved ones if you were ever to be in a bad situation. Believe it or not, I don’t own a fitbit and never have. I guess I never thought it was necessary to own one since I am always in the gym and constantly moving around. Recently, WiseWear reached out to me to try out their “fitbit” like product. I was skeptical at first but after seeing their design and their innovative technology and […]

You might click on this post and think “oh that’s a cute outfit” or maybe you think “what the hell was she thinking?” either way, when I look at this post all I see is total procrastination. I shot this look with Emma back in October and while it is one of my favorite outfits, it still took over 4 months to make it to the blog. But with the craziness of the holidays, brand collaborations and picking up my new position with Strong Fitness, this post and a few others had to be put on the back burner. So here I am playing catch-up but lucky for me this look is still relevant come late January (thank god). Just throw on cute oversized coat and you are good to go. This look is perfect for a night out with the girls, date night with bae, or even a first tinder date. Whatever the night throws at you, this suede get-up will leave a lasting impression. 😉 Suede FTW! Sarah is wearing: Turtleneck (Storets sold out similar here), Skirt (Free People sold out similar here), Boots (Stuart Weitzman), Bag (Chloe via Bag Borrow or Steal), Sunglasses (Rayban).

Days have become a bit cooler, leaves have begun to fall and pumpkin spice lattes are being served at every corner coffee shop. All signs that fall has arrived. There is just something about this season that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and make us gravitate towards cozy clothes that you could practically curl up for a nap in. This sweater dress is one of these pieces. I wore this cozy ‘Mod’ look while attending fashion week and while the weather hardly felt like fall at the time, I pushed through anyway (to photograph this look) and came out practically unscathed. All in the name of fashion. I went for a mod look and paired this shift sweater dress with my favorite over the knee boots, round sunglasses and finished the look with a sleek top knot. I hope Twiggy would be proud. This look is easy, requires little to no thought to put together and is perfect for practically any occasion this fall/winter. I usually air on the side of simple when it comes to getting dressed and sweater dresses and shift dresses make life a ton easier for me in the cooler months. Just throw […]
