#52DayShred Round 2 Launch Party Pics

This post is long overdue but better late than never! We just wanted to share a few photos that were snapped during our most recent #52DayShred launch party that we threw with S3 Active! It was a HOT evening, probably the hottest this year but we stayed cool and hydrated by downing copious amounts of Core Water and Truly Spiked Sparkling Water! I can’t express how much we LOVE putting on the #52DayShred but these launch parties are hands down, our favorite part. Much of our program is done virtually, so being able to meet these lovely ladies in person and hear their stories and what their goals are, make it all SO worth it. The beginning of the party is usually for mingling and shopping and then the last portion of the party is spent going over the program. We send out a TON of info on what to expect during the program but we think it helps a lot to be able to talk it through and answer questions along the way. DMV Summer Guide

Summer is almost here which means it’s time for baseball, pool parties, barbecues and beer. Lots of beer. Summertime in the city can get hot and seriously humid, so finding activities that will keep you cool is definitely a must. I have rounded up my top places to shop, eat and my favorite things to do when summer strikes in the DMV. Shop: The DC area has tons of shopping to choose from but if you are looking for a more unique shopping/culinary experience, head on over to Union Market in DC. This eclectic market is made up of local artisans, food and retail vendors and amazing restaurants as well. Make a day out of it and have lunch at Takorean, a cocktail at Buffalo & Bergen, pick up some luxurious and all natural skincare from Follain and then peruse one of my favorite local home shops, Salt and Sundry. Spring is in the air! We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after a brutally cold winter here in DC. One thing is for certain, we are all ready for some fresh air after being trapped indoors for a solid two months straight. Warm weather means happy hours, dining el fresco, farmers markets and finally shedding the layers that we have become a-custom to bundling up in. And luckily enough, we have found one glorious spot in DC to indulge in all of our favorite warm weather activities. Union Market is a unique emporium that houses over 40 artisan retailers under one roof. Richard Brandenburg, veteran of José Andrés’s ThinkFoodGroup, has carefully curated the ultimate foodie experience and locals and tourists have definitely taken notice. Vendors range from fine food artisans, up-and-coming entrepreneurs, to well known restaurateurs all creating an overall memorable experience.
