Online shopping, we all do it because it’s convenient, takes a click of a mouse and your shiny new treasures are on the way. I’m as guilty as anyone, because I do my fair share of point and click shopping but what if that was our only option? What if you could no longer stroll the charming streets of your town on a Saturday or pop into your favorite local boutique for a dress for an event you have that night? What if your home town was filled with nothing big box stores and Amazon pick up locations? That could soon be our reality if we don’t make a change. In the last year, we made a few big changes of our own. We moved from Arlington to Alexandria, Virginia and I bought a new business, The Alexandria Scout Guide. While the move was only 15 miles away, it feels like an entirely different world. When it comes to my skin there are two people I trust, my dermatologist and Sarah Akram. Working in this field, I’ve been blessed with many invitations to local spas to try out treatments. While they are all relaxing and most of them have been wonderful experiences, I’ve never walked away with results like what I see when I leave Sarah Akram’s office. There is so much noise in the skincare field telling us what treatments we should be doing, what injections to get and what products you need to be slathering on our faces so it’s very important to find someone you trust with your skin. After trying and testing out most of the top spas in the area, it’s safe for me to say that I think that Sarah Akram is the best in the DMV, if not the entire country. Not only because you see major results when you leave but it’s because she listens to your skincare concerns and personalizes your facial to YOU! Lusting For Leopard

Leopard print isn’t a new concept when it comes to fashion. It pops up every few years, is played like a broken record and then is buried in your closet for half a century. But this time around, the old leopard has been updated with modern silhouettes in clothing and shoes and we can’t seem to get enough! Leopard print is practically a neutral these days because it practically goes with everything. From jeans and a tee to bright colors, it’s the perfect print to spice up any look. No matter your sense of style, there’s a cheeky way to wear this animalistic pattern. Lately, I haven’t been able to get enough of leopard. It seems every time I shop, some kind of animal print makes its way into my bag. There are just so many good pieces this season! Find some of my favorite leopard pieces below!
