Sharing our love for this city plus a baby and mommy 11 month update. It’s hard to believe that we have been in LA for over 3 years now. When we found out we were pregnant, the question we were constantly asked was “Are you planning on moving back home?”. We never toyed with the idea because we were both on a career path that we wanted to continue to pursue here. Now don’t get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to be surrounded with our immediate family and share the incredible development and experiences of sweet baby Adaline with them. We are doing our best as a new family of 3 to keep working hard and loving hard in the city we both share the same love for and know baby girl will someday too. We love LA for too many reasons. Yes, the weather is gorgeous and the views are insane but it’s the impactful, memorable moments of witnessing, exploring and sharing all of these memories together with my little family. Baby Blues: 5 Things To Get Over

I got the baby blues and 5 things I need to get over … I am very thankful that I never suffered from post part depression. I have had a few friends who did and of course read up on it before pregnancy in fear I may develop it. It’s a very common, real and difficult thing, especially since the very first few months should be some of your happiest moments ever. I will say that I have had some baby blues simply created from my new found role as mom. It’s THE most, BEST, amazing role to ever take on but being a “Mom” and the caretaker of another human being, well it’s flat out hard. It’s A LOT of stress! Imagine loving something so much, yet fearing for their well being at all times. Yes, I may be a bit of a worry wart for those who know me well, but it’s all good intentions. Mac & Mia, your personal stylist is waiting for you. When I found out I was having a little girl, I almost cried with joy in the Doctor’s office as the doctor continued the anatomy scan. Of course I would be happy with either gender, but the thought of dressing a little mini just gets me all giddy. When I was younger, my mother did a lot of sewing in her spare time. She would make matching outfits for my sister and I, and on holidays she would join in the matching fun. You couldn’t miss our family because we stuck out like a soar thumb.
