Being that this is not my first rodeo and I know how difficult and time consuming it can be to compile a list of things you need to prepare for a baby, a baby that is not even here yet. SO! I thought it would be helpful to list my personal must haves. The must haves that will get you through those very difficult, sleepless few months and beyond. Must haves not only for baby but for mama too! Julius is almost one, so these pieces are tried and true x2! This list may get a little lengthy so I apologize in advanced but I wanted to make sure that I explained why I love each product so much. Here we go … Dock A Tot: This is a must especially during those first few weeks. Baby is sleeping most of the time and having a little portable bed that is both convenient and aesthetically pleasing is a game changer. We would tote both kiddos around the house in thiers. Owlet Sock: The owlet sock saved me hours of sleep. I can’t thank this device enough for giving me a sense of peace as it tracks your baby’s oxygen level […]

I can’t believe that I am 38 weeks pregnant and just now finalizing my hospital bag as well as sharing the deets with you. Let’s make this quick, because who knows how much time I may have! I will say the one thing I did learn from the first go around is that you really don’t need a lot. The hospital supplies you with pretty much everything for both you and babe other than the clothes you two will be going home in. SO know these are items to make you feel more at ease in a situation that may feel a little out of the norm. Especially with our dear friend COVID still hanging around. Hospital Bag: Love the size of this style from Vessel. The compartments both inside and out are great for storage and organization which is key. Plus they engrave for you to make this bag a memorable keep sake of the big day. Clothes: Clothes to go home in for both you and babe plus another lounging set or two and pjs (Depending on your recovery) if you find the energy to change in the hospital. A few details … Biker Shorts: Def. packing the […]

Maternity Clothes can be so daunting and unnecessary. I learned this from the first pregnancy and made sure the second go around not to waist my time and money. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few essentials I did pick up that will for sure come in handy like maternity leggings and tank support. My go to’s are from Branqi for basics. You will for sure be thankful for those come third trimester but for the most part a few cute dresses and styling techniques can carry you through out all 3 trimesters and beyond! Here are a few things to look out for when shopping and styling for that bump plus some pieces I own and love. Find pieces that you will feel confident wearing years to come even after the baby! Don’t waist your money on pieces you won’t wear again, save it for the million other things the new babe will need. Sundress: Of course this is more helpful in the Spring and Summer but an empire waist dress or tent dress is perfect for that growing belly. In the colder seasons find a longer style and pair with a crop jacket. Biker Shorts: I have […]

Just because you’re pregnant and your body has to suffer from growing a human being (soon to be the size of a watermelon) doesn’t mean your skin has to! In fact, most pregnancies, your skin takes on a whole new world. From raging hormones that cause some serious break outs to soon to be glowing skin. At least that’s what everyone says! Your skin takes a true beating which is why you still need some self love but with pre caution because there are some harsh ingredients in a lot of skincare that you may not have known or even thought about before. I sure didn’t and it took me a good minute to go through the list of my favorite products to see what was safe and what was not and it was pretty scary to see how many were not safe. I had to store those away for after baby and do some serious research (as I am no expert) to change up my skincare routine. Just a smidge to ensure the best for my little! I’m linking below my new regime (in order of routine) plus a list of other pregnancy safe products to try as well […]
